Hello and Thank You For Commenting!

Please be patient.  I read all the comments which means it does take a lot of time to comment on each one. Depending on the time of the season, I may post the comment in a few minutes or it may take a few days.

When you are done reading this just hit your back button/arrow to get back to the page you were on.

All Comments are reviewed before they are posted to the article.

I read all comments myself. I remove personal information you may have inadvertently posted and my software will correct any mis-spellings. Sometimes you were not specific in your question or comment and I’ll email you privately for clarification before I post your comment.

Information such as personal product promotion, affiliated links to products, continuous blog promotions, or PR pitches will be removed. Spam gets automatically deleted.

If you are a dealer or repair shop and you have a specific fix for a comment’er I may add the link to your website so that comment’er can get more information from you.

What is MyCountryAcre’s comment policy?

The goal at MyCountryAcre is to encourage intelligent and useful conversation around the articles and guides in a friendly and non-judgmental environment.

Be kind. Discriminatory language and personal attacks are unacceptable and will be deleted at my discretion.

I do believe in transparency, so I never remove comments due to dissenting opinions or disagreement with my review and testing methods. Please be aware I enjoy constructive criticism both of a product and about what I do here but…. a comment like “Don’t buy an (brand) they are junk.” or “you only like a (certain brand)” is not productive and it will never be posted. If you have a criticism about a product please be specific and use the product, place, problem and exact fix method to tell us about it. Name, model, nameplate model number all go a long way to helping the rest of us out.

How do you deal with comments after updating an article or guide?

Starting now, I will actively moderate the comments to ensure that they stay relevant and helpful to you.

Depending on the changes to an article or guide I will do one of the following:

If I update an article and the products remain unchanged, we keep all comments intact.

If I update a yearly guide with a new main choice and/or new alternatives, I remove all of the comments to prevent confusion between one season and the next.

If a manufacture updates a product and the specs change I will remove any comments pertaining to the older model.
